Hunters Association “Ozren” is active in the area of Petrovo municipality, and is organised in 6 clubs, namely Petrovo, Kakmuž, Soškovac, Karanovac, Porječina and Krtova.

Climb to Maglić on St. Vitus’s Day is probably the most massive and most attractive hiking activity that takes place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Certainly the most valuable perl of the nature heritage from the National Park Sutjeska is strictly protected reserve called Perućica, one of the few remaining primeval-forests in Europe.

The orthodox monastery of St. Nikola was built by the Serbian King Dragutin who was ruling this area in the early middle ages. The monastery is situated seven kilometres south from Petrovo, surended by pine tree forest in the mountain landscape enriched by beautiful Jadrina river that is passing by.
