Bosna river is the most attractive river when it comes to float fishing of Pike-Perch and Common Nase. The Sport and Fishing Association “Bosna” from Doboj manages the fishing area that is 70 km long. There are prepared fishing places from were fishing can be performed. The most attractive species are Pike-Perch, Catfish, Carp and Pike. The fishing platform for the persons with disability is also planned to be built. Fishing areas in Petrovo municipality are alongside Spreča river – 25 km (from Krtova to Boljanić) Jadrina river – 14 km and Prenja river – 7 km, And at swampy lake Starača in Karanovac, and ponds Crna Bara and Djedova Voda in Petrovo.
Short Fishing School
Experienced fishermen - instructors, prepare and lead the training of the future lovers of this hobby and sport. The fishing school lasts for two days and includes the following themes and practice skills:
I Fish of our rivers
II Fishing techniques and equipment
III Nature protection
These units can be adapted in accordance to the guests’ wishes. The lectures are completely done in the nature and through practical learning. The equipment is provided by the Fishing Association. Fishing school is the ideal example of the school in nature. The school is also quite attractive as the family weekend-trip. It is organised at the locations that are safe and easily accessible.
Fishing permits:
26 € - Discount to the pensioners, person with disability, women and children.
6 € - Daily permit (local tourists)
11 € - Daily permit (foreign tourists)
26 € - Tourist permit (limited to 15 fishing trips)
The prices are set by the Sport Fishing Association of Republic of Srpska (SRS RS).
