Ozren Outdoor

Ozren mountain has exceptionally good potential for paragliding,, especially during the spring and summer, when thermals that lift to the cloud base rise all the way up to 2,500 m or even higher, which allows gliding that lasts up to several hours, with the possibility to overfly the distance of several tenths of kilometres. Paragliding club “Paraghost” uses launch sites on two locations, one for more experienced gliders on Gostilj and three sites suitable for everyone at the elevation Ruj as its basic flying infrastructure.. Those launch sites are combined throughout the year since flying from Gostilj is the best during the spring and summer while Ruj is the best during autumn and winter. That is one more advantage of using Ozren for paragliding activities.
