On Cyprinidae species (Pike-Perch, Carp, Catfish, Pike, Common Nase, Chub) fishing is allowed with the usage of artificial and natural baits, except live baits.

Once the stories about water springs of Ozren and their miraculous healing effects circulated and passed the legacy to a new generations. Today, we whiteness that many people bottle and drink water from Ozren springs, and there is a water bottling plant built on Prenja river. One single village Osojnica has some 25 sources of water.

Sport and Fishing Association (SFA) "Bosna" Doboj deals with the farming, protection and improvement of the fish stock, as well as the promotion of fishing as the sport activity, beauty spots and the protection of the environment in the area of Doboj municipality. Our Association is one of the most numerous and manages huge fishing area of Bosna river of approximately 70 kilometres.

Sport and Fishing Association (SFA) "Spreča" was founded in 2003, when we had approximately 40 members. The same number of members exists today as well. The Association was founded with the aim to be active in sport fishing, protection of rivers and the nature in general, fish-stocking and promote fishing as a sport activity.

These rivers are rich with the following ichthyofauna: Common Nase (Sneep), Danubian Roach, Bream, Vimba, Chub, Barbel, Carp, Danube Bleak, Catfish, Pike, Pike-Perch, Grass Carp, Prussian Carp, Zingel, and occasionally Danube Salmon (Huchen) and Trout can be caught as well during the winter. Fishing area is abundant with fish from family Cyprinidae.

Sava's carp is native species in this region, characterised by a great fighting spirit. It is particularly exciting to fish for carp at reservoirs, with the modern equipment for carp fishing with a heavy lead and throw the fish-hook to the longer distances.

Pelagićevo Lake was created in the sixties of 20th century, by the excavation of gravel needed for the construction of the main road. Lake complex has the area of about 80 ha, out of which 33 ha is the water surface.
